Exhibits
Current Exhibit: Juneberry Tree Gallery, Crown Heights Brooklyn, NY June 8-August 31st
I am excited to be part of a group exhibition in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, exploring the remarkable resilience and flourishing of Jewish life after the Holocaust.
Set in the heart of a modern shtetl, the exhibition reflects on gratitude, continuity, and the vibrant Jewish communities that are still thriving today.
Title: “Within Reach”
In an overflowing aisle of a Jewish-owned grocery store, Rabbi Yudel Chitrick, a Chassid who lived to 106, reaches for a box of graham crackers to share with his great-grandchildren over Shabbat. His traditional black clothing stands in contrast to the vibrant shelves around him, reflecting the freedom to openly live and practice one's faith.
Exploring themes of abundance, continuity, and visible Jewish life, Within Reach is an expression of gratitude for the freedoms and opportunities that have enabled our community to flourish across generations.
Public Installation in Downtown Chicago- September 2025
Inspired by Norman Rockwell’s painting “Day in the Life of a Boy,” Friday in the Life of a Jewish Baby offers a glimpse into the ecosystem of a Jewish home through the eyes of its toddler. On a typical Friday, moments of play sit side by side with holy preparation, drawing the viewer’s attention to the deep sanctity embedded in the simple actions.
This piece was created and featured as part of a public installation earlier this year. It was designed for the purposes of educating non-practicing Jews about the rhythms and beauty of Jewish life.
